With embedded artificial intelligence (AI) and a single human capital management (HCM) platform, Dayforce software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivers real-time data, one employee record, and unified workflows across human resources (HR), payroll, talent, and workforce management. Built on a single application and single data model, Dayforce applies consistent business rules across workforce management and payroll without integrations or data movement. This provides full auditability of payroll calculations at the transaction level, providing real-time traceability and transparency—critical for federal compliance. Unlike batch payroll, Dayforce continuously calculates gross-to-net in real time, enabling early issue detection, less rework, and greater confidence. Dayforce can be deployed for pay or time only without replacing existing HR systems, supporting secure integration and phased modernization with minimal disruption.

Dayforce provides a single application for HR, payroll, benefits, workforce management, analytics, and talent management capabilities. Our platform is designed on our single application architecture. With data stored in a single, central location, our platform provides actionable data-driven insights across all HCM functions to enable better decision-making across the entire employee lifecycle. Our approach eliminates the need for fragile and complex data integrations that attempt to unify disparate HR-related applications, such as payroll and time and attendance. Eliminating integrations simplifies workflows, drives more efficient service delivery, reduces errors, and enhances regulatory compliance.
Dayforce also provides a variety of methods to integrate with third-party systems, if required. These integrations can take the form of CSV or XML files transferred over SFTP, APIs, interchanges using Open Data Access Protocols, the Analytics Data Connector, or our Integration Studio.

Dayforce is actively progressing toward Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate authorization through a formal enterprise-wide security, compliance, and readiness program. Through this commitment, Dayforce is making significant investments to build a dedicated FedRAMP aligned environment built on Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure. Dayforce initiated FedRAMP readiness efforts in the first half of 2025 by engaging cybersecurity advisory firm Fortreum to establish its authorization and readiness strategy. Separately, Dayforce is working with Baker Tilly to perform third-party assessment services as part of the FedRAMP authorization process and is targeting delivery of a certifiable FedRAMP Moderate SaaS solution in 2026.
