Featured Topic: Implementing an Effective RTO
Starting March 1, Federal employees with telework agreements and eligibility are required to report to a federal facility for onsite work five days a week. This transition in location - to occur over a six week period - will require specific management approaches that help employees return to an office environment full time and sustain productivity during this transition. Whether you are a people manager or HR, you may be looking for ideas and best practices as you prepare for the RTO environment.
Join ACT-IAC’s Talent Community of Interest on February 26 for an online member meeting to connect with your peers and learn approaches to managing during a large-scale transition. The session will kick off with a presentation of leading frameworks and methodologies from industry COI members. Drawing from science and industry best practices, the brief presentation will kick start a facilitated discussion about how Federal managers, with HR’s support, can best prepare for RTO by focusing on the drivers of employee productivity and engagement. This human centered approach can help employees quickly transition while continuing to perform their vital functions in the agency.
