Federal agencies are under increasing pressure to deliver mission outcomes while operating within flat or declining budgets. As cloud adoption accelerates and technology environments grow more complex, leaders must move beyond traditional cost-cutting approaches and adopt more disciplined, data-driven models for managing IT spend. FinOps – cloud financial management that aligns with finance, technology, and mission stakeholders – has emerged as a critical capability for improving transparency, accountability, and decision-making across the federal enterprise.

Modernizing Federal HR

The Trump Administration is actively pursuing acquisition of an enterprise HR IT and data platform, and seeking to leverage commercial solutions to transform key functions such as strategic recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.  The guidance and timeline for this effort was recently presented in the OMB memo issued on December 10, 2025 entitled  "Creating "Federal HR 2.0" by Consolidating Core Human Capital Management Acro

Cybersecurity threats are evolving faster than ever, and federal agencies must adapt to stay ahead. From implementing Zero Trust architectures to grappling with the implications of generative AI, the federal sectors face both unprecedented risks and powerful new defense opportunities. Further, the human and organizational dimensions of cybersecurity must be simultaneously addressed, including closing workforce gaps, strengthening insider threat programs, and expanding real-time intelligence sharing across agencies.

Standardization and Governance: Establishing standardized processes and strong governance frameworks to ensure consistent and secure deployment of IT services is crucial. This includes setting clear guidelines, responsibilities, and accountability mechanisms.
