Additional Information. In the days ahead, please keep an eye on the ACT-IAC daily News Flash email where we will be periodically highlighting the election process as well as providing links to the ACT-IAC website where you will be able to read bios for each candidate. On May 8th we will hold a Membership meeting at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, where we will also identify the candidates and remind members on how to view their bios. Voting will then commence on May 10th and close on June 7th.
The IAC bylaws (Article VI, Section 4) provide that additional individuals may be added to the slate of candidates through a petitioning process. A petition must be signed by at least 10% of the IAC member company points of contact and submitted to the ACT-IAC CEO, Dave Wennergren no later than May 3rd this year. Only the IAC member company’s official representative (designated point of contact) may sign the petition. If you wish to nominate yourself or some other individual via the petition process, please review the qualification requirements for IAC Executive Committee members. If you decide to submit a petition, a list of IAC official points of contact (POC) is available from Don Becker at [email protected]. Petitions with the requisite number of signatures (49 or more) must be delivered by email to [email protected] by midnight, Friday, May 3, 2024.
If you have any questions or need additional information about the election process, please contact Dave Wennergren by email [email protected] or by phone (703) 963-5573. Thank you for your continued support of the important work of ACT-IAC to accelerate government mission outcomes through collaboration, leadership and education.
