
Janet is the Chief Executive Officer of Jefferson Solutions Group. She has over 30 years of experience focused on how government and industry can work together to optimize success. She is an organization development practitioner with a passion for performance improvement and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Janet is committed to industry and government collaboration and has worked in ACT-IAC Communities of Interest as well as other working groups. She is a Fellow from Partners 2014, vice-chair for the largest and longest cohort in 2020 and rounded that out chairing the 2021 cohort.
Since joining Jefferson, she has leveraged the company achievements in providing acquisition lifecycle support and improvement, human capital, program management and strategy, and institutional support to chart and deliver new and expanded success for their customers. She collaborates with her executive team to drive decisions, align actions to strategic goals, and deliver results year over year. Janet leads a portfolio that includes USAID, State, USDA, HHS, and many other civilian agencies, as well as business consulting with expertise in veterans’ health.
Prior to joining Jefferson, Janet was the Chief Operating Officer of a woman-owned small business, helping them grow from $20M to $50M in four years. One of her crowning successes was building a shared services business unit that continues to deliver quality services to the government. Janet also spent ten years at Unisys building a human capital practice, developing and deploying a flagship internal leadership program, and finally leading several large information technology programs.
Before joining private industry, Janet spent thirteen years in federal government supporting and leading agency strategic planning, human capital planning, and contracting.
