Carol Miller

Carol S. Miller, BSN, MBA, PMP, joined ACT-IAC in July 2016 as the Senior Director of Corporate Development. Carol brings to ACT-IAC more than 30+ years of industry contracting and consulting experience with multiple government agencies that include the services of business development, capture, proposal writing, strategic planning, and program operations, and as well, private sector consulting to hospital systems and providers. In addition, Carol has managed her own consulting firm, Miller Consulting Group where she has provided support services to large and small business firms. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Carol supported ACT IAC as a volunteer for over 12 years, was Vice Chair at-large on the ACT-IAC Executive Committee from 2009-2011; and in 2009 was a graduate of the Partners Program.  In her current role as Chief Corporate Revenue Officer, Carol manages the Sponsorship and Membership strategic initiatives, engages with existing and new member firms, participates as a member of the Institute for Innovation Board as well as supporting their activities; advocates for collaboration activities with other associations and groups, and is the event planner and organizer for many of the ACT-IAC programs and forums. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science in Business from St. Joseph’s University, and a dual Masters in Business and Finance from Marymount University. In addition, Carol is a certified Program Management Professional and is Past President and current Board Member for the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) National Capital Area.
