Abstract
Employees of the Federal government have incredible opportunities to drive innovation because the government is a target rich environment for digital transformation. Many agencies have established innovation labs to test and evaluate new capabilities that could transform agency operations. These labs have had success in nurturing innovation, collaboration, and internal education. Still the engagement within these labs represents a very small percentage of the Federal government and scaling the operation requires both funding and a total buy in by the majority who do not have a role, the potential nay sayers, or employees who do not see their role as innovators and change agents.
