ACT-IAC Academy is proud to collaborate with Agilious to offer a comprehensive two-day Certified Scrum Master (CSM) training specifically designed for professionals working in or with Federal Agencies. This immersive course equips participants with the skills and confidence to lead Agile teams and deliver high-value results on time.

Course Overview

This hands-on training provides foundational knowledge in Agile and Scrum principles, with real-world scenarios tailored to the complexities of federal software delivery environments. Participants will gain practical tools and techniques to immediately apply within their teams and organizations.

Course Objectives:

• Introduction to Agile and Scrum
• How to apply Scrum to operate in a climate of complexity and rapid change
• Experience of real Scrum in action through various interactive exercises
• Deep dive into the Scrum framework, including roles, artefacts and events
• Introduction to self-management and how to create self-organizing teams
• How to do effective planning and forecasting work
• How to create a mindset and culture of continuous improvement

All Agilious training is experiential and based on real-world insights. They impart skills that are proven and can be applied immediately by participants within their teams and organization.

*The CSM training is eligible for 14 PMI Professional Development Unit (PDU) credits to apply towards a PMP renewal.

Meet the Instructor - Manjit Singh 

Manjit Singh is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Enterprise Agile Transformation Coach, and seasoned Agile consultant with over 24 years of experience driving large-scale Agile and Lean transformations. Since 2000, he has led Agile adoption and implementation efforts across both public and private sectors, including Fortune 500 organizations, delivering measurable outcomes in complex environments. He has been teaching and training since 2013. With a unique blend of coaching, mentoring, and instructional expertise, Manjit is known for cultivating high-performing Agile teams and guiding them from initial formation to sustained delivery excellence. His approach emphasizes continuous improvement, outcome-driven delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Manjit is the founder and President of Agilious, a highly-skilled digital solutions development and IT modernization company that enables its customers to build the right solutions—faster, leaner, and with strategic purpose. He is a co-author of The Lean Playbook: Build A Lean Organization Yourself, which presents what ‘Lean‘ is and how positively it can impact a company. The book includes plenty of real life cases to guide readers through their Lean Transformation.
