Blockchain Working Group

ACT-IAC, through the Emerging Technology Community of Interest, formed a Blockchain Working Group to give voice to and provide an authoritative resource for government agencies looking to understand and incorporate blockchain functionality into their organizations.  This working group includes government and industry thought leaders incubating government blockchain use cases including: individual identification, asset registry, financial transactions, federal acquisition, IoT, and governance.  The Emerging Technology Community of Interest intends to help craft a playbook on approaches to use blockchain within the government. By working together and collaborating with stakeholders, this community is helping to leverage the foundational blockchain concept to apply to specific, tactical government applications today.
