2026 Emerging Technology and Innovation Awards

  • Nominations will be accepted through February 18, 2026.
  • Anyone can nominate an innovation that benefits (or could benefit) government missions, functions or management and operations.
  • Nominations should represent the application (e.g., research, concept evaluation, pilot, or full-scale operations) of innovative approaches, methods, tools, or solutions.
  • Nominations that are product announcements or marketing descriptions of current offerings are not eligible.
  • Submissions are judged based on several factors, including: impact (realized or projected); adoption of new or emerging technologies; the innovative creation of either new solutions or extensions of existing solutions and capabilities; or the creative application of new methods and techniques.
  • There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit, and there is no cost for submitting a nomination.
  • Nominations must have been conceived, developed, deployed, or upgraded in the last two years (after January 1, 2024) to be eligible.
  • Nominations can come from government, private sector companies, academic research institutions, or any combination or partnership. Partnerships with government are encouraged.
  • If you are logged into the website, you may save a draft and return to your submission at any time.
  • If you are not logged into the website, you will not be able to save a draft and must complete the entire submission in a single session.
  • After you answer all of the questions, then click on “SUBMIT” to submit your nomination.
  • All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges to select the award winners. The points of contact in the nomination form will be notified if they are selected as one of the best nominations or as an award winner. Award winners will be recognized at the ACT-IAC Emerging Technology and Innovation Conference.
