Breakout Session One:  Resiliency Efforts on Innovation
Implementing new approaches to tackle old problems is a pathway to building a resilient government.  Organizations that encourage their employees to innovate on the job are more resilient than their counterparts.  The pandemic highlighted the need for federal agencies to embrace innovation.  During this panel, learn more about how agencies will need to maintain a culture of innovation beyond the current crisis.

Breakout Session Two:  Resiliency Efforts on Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity is paramount to the government's resilience and response to crises.  To navigate the pandemic, the federal government depended on a robust cybersecurity foundation.  In collaboration with private information technology and security firms, state and local governments could provide the needed services and support to constituents.  The panel will discuss the plans for a secure future with automation, advanced cutting-edge cyber technology and systems, risk monitoring, zero trust security initiatives and use of identity authentication.

Technology is the base of the business of government missions, enabling operations and accessing, sharing and storing of information.  With the onset of the pandemic, agencies expanded the technical capabilities to more effectively manage a more efficient, reliable, and secure remote access.  This panel will discuss what agencies are planning for the future from reducing the reliance on legacy technologies while modernizing to migrating to the cloud while improving computer process speeds.
