Ms. Rumney is a Contracting Operations Division Chief with the Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD). IBC AQD has a workforce of 180+ Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) professionals with experience negotiating, awarding, and administering contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transactions. IBC is a leader in delivering responsive, agile, compliant, and mission-enabling support services to the federal government. She has worked 25 years with the Government, 18 of those with the IBC AQD. Most recently Ms. Rumney completed a 2-year CPARS pilot within IBC to explore the benefits of implementing a CPARS Self-Assessment Requirement for AQD Contract Awardees. Ms. Rumney is originally from Peterborough, England, and as a former military spouse, and Air Force mom, has travelled to many wonderful places throughout the world, and looks forward to continuing her travels in her spare time.
