Cindy Good

Cindy Good has been in the public sector for 15+ years and has dedicated most of her time in helping organizations overcome challenges and identifying opportunities for growth. She is the Deputy Chief Data Officer at the Federal Transit Administration.

She was previous the Director of Data Transparency at the Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Prior to that, she was the Director of the Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation, where she led government-wide initiatives for improving customer experience, increasing efficiency, and enhancing mission effectiveness. Good’s prior role at the U.S. Department of Commerce as Senior Program Manager allowed her to serve as the NTIS program development lead for the Department of Defense portfolio. She was responsible for connecting DoD with technology partners to help them find solutions to their most complex business problems through commercial and academic innovation.

In her previous experiences, Good worked with the U.S. Army as the Integration Program Manager. In this role, she oversaw and managed budget operations while synchronizing and integrating the activities of multiple marketing programs across the three Army components: Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard.

Throughout her career, Cindy Good has been closely involved in expanding digital transformation strategies, finding solutions to agencies data challenges, and developing long-term strategic and short-term operational plans for cross-government programs in Defense, Finance, Manufacturing, and International Development.

Cindy Good holds an MBA from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, and a Bachelor Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland.
