
Dr. Bijan Mansoury presently serves as an Assistant Director at the Acquisition Services Branch within the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In this capacity, his primary responsibilities include overseeing FDIC's complex and innovative IT initiatives. Prior to this role, Bijan served as the Director of Office of Acquisition Management within the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). In this capacity, he oversaw contract operations, policy, business systems, and strategic planning related to FRA's procurement and facility management. He brings with him over 17 years of extensive experience in various federal government roles, including positions at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Transportation.
Bijan holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialized focus on resource management from the University of Liverpool, alongside an MBA earned from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, he successfully completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
