Akila Narayanan is Vice-President and a Managing Director at Cortland Valuation Group, Inc.. She has extensive experience providing valuation services in support of tax planning and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, exit planning and financial reporting. Her casework includes the valuation of business interests, complex securities, debt instruments, intangible assets and emerging company valuations. She is a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF), a voluntary group of valuation professionals seeking to improve the practice. She also serves as the president of the Washington DC metro area chapter of Exit Planning Exchange.
