The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) has announced the winners of its 2022 Innovation Awards. The award winners were selected by a panel of judges from 124 outstanding nominations from across industry and government. Recognition was given to five Innovation Champion Award winners, the grand prize champions in this year’s competition, and also to seven Innovation Impact Award winners, additional outstanding examples of the power of innovative solutions in the federal market.
The Innovation Champion Award, ACT-IAC’s highest innovation award, recognizes a significant and game-changing innovation. The Innovation Impact Award recognizes an innovation that has had a substantial impact within government technology. This year’s nominations included artificial intelligence and intelligent automation, pandemic response tools, cybersecurity, IT modernization, data science, health care, virtual reality, geospatial analysis, and citizen services. Nominations were submitted by federal, state, and local government agencies, private companies, FFRDC and national labs.
