Understanding and Leveraging Transformative Technologies in Government

Technology has the power to change the way government works. Whether its robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI) or even blockchain, these technologies might offer solutions to some of government’s biggest challenges. But understanding how to get started and advancing promising emerging technologies within government can be an overwhelming and daunting task.

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn some of the latest emerging technology trends, how emerging technologies fit within the broader context of innovation, some of the innate challenges of emerging technology adoption and gain a better understanding for how to advance emerging technologies within government with special attention on AI, Blockchain, RPA, DevOps, Internet of Things and 5G. Participants will learn some of the best practices for launching an emerging technology proof of concept/pilot and how to avoid some of the pitfalls that often stall these efforts.
