Terry McBride

Mr. McBride has more than 15 years of specialized experience advising government agencies on the policy and technical aspects of identity credentials and access management (ICAM). He spent more than six of those years directing the Federal CIO Council ICAM & E-Authentication Lab – implementing solutions, testing software, writing federal standards, and developing Federal guidance regarding E-Authentication and Federation (e.g., ICAM SAML Profile, Trust Framework Adoption Process). He has contributed to the origination of multiple Federal programs for addressing ICAM needs, including Trust Framework Solutions, PIV Shared Service Component Infrastructure (which became USAccess), and PIV Interoperability for Non-Federal Issuers (PIV-I).
