Paul Strasser is currently the President of Brillient Corporation following a 38-year career in Science, Engineering, Information Technology and Management Consulting. Most recently Paul was the Executive Vice President (EVP) at Data Systems Analysts (DSA) following the sale of Project Performance Company (PPC) in 2017 where he was President and CEO. Prior to PPC, he was the Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager at Engility Corporation (NYSE:EGL) following the merger with Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) in 2014, leading approximately 1000 employees supporting Federal, Commercial, and State and Local customers. At DRC as an SVP, he initially led Corporate Strategic Development and then operations in endeavors including: Cyber Security, Science and Technology, Healthcare, Financial Regulatory Reform, Homeland Security, and ISR. Primary solutions areas included: Big Data, Cloud Computing, and High Performance Computing. He has supported customers across the Federal Government including Civilian Agencies, Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community.
His prior 29 years in technical and senior management positions included COO at Pragmatics (2004-2010), VP for Titan Corporation and legacy companies (1994-2004) and satellite engineer at Lockheed Missiles and Space (1985-1986).
Strasser has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology, with minors in Astronomy and Marine Sciences. He earned a graduate certificate in Information Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
Active in several Industry Associations, including AFCEA and IAC. He has served on the ACT/IAC Executive Committee as Vice Chair for Finance and Vice Chair at-Large. In 2013, Paul served as the ACT/IAC Industry Chair for the Executive Leadership Conference. Prior to 2013, he worked on reviewing the SIG structure and successfully sponsored six ACT/IAC Partners and Voyagers. Paul has also served in various roles on the Board at TechAmerica, and GEIA.
In 2013, Strasser was a Federal 100 Award recipient for work in Information Sharing supporting DHS.
