Strengthening Federal Cybersecurity: Results of the Cyber Innovation Ideation Initiative

Abstract

Recent events show that cybersecurity threats are one of the most challenging issues for the Federal government.  ACT-IAC undertook this initiative in the summer of 2015 to collect ideas for pragmatic and innovative actions that could be taken to better protect information held by the government. Eight challenging questions were identified. ACT-IAC invited people and organizations from government, industry, academia and the public to submit ideas and practical ways to resolve the issues raised by the questions.  A working group of ACT and IAC members analyzed the comments received and prepared a report containing the results of their analysis
