Abstract

Featured Topic: Trusted Internet Connections 3.0

The Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) program is a strategic aspect of securing government agency networks. The latest version of the guidance, TIC 3.0, is a major update that drives security standards and leverages advancements in technology as agencies adopt mobile and cloud environments. This session will provide an overview of the TIC 3.0 guidance, including the TIC 3.0 Interim Telework Guidance developed to support OMB M-20-19 and current telework surge. It will also cover what agencies and industry can do to prepare for TIC 3.0, how they can adopt popular cloud models while still meeting security standards, and how GSA is preparing the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) program to support TIC 3.0.
