Diversity Management Strategist
Natasha C. Hewlett serves as the Management Strategist for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Diversity and Civil Rights (ODCR). In this capacity, Ms. Hewlett develops and implements programming r Diversity & Inclusion, Model Workplace, and Special Emphasis programs across the enterprise. Ms. Hewlett has deliberately and systematically shifted the diversity paradigm by building partnerships and collaborating with agency leadership, stakeholders, employees and outside organizations. Ms. Hewlett strategically develops innovative and creative solutions to often comples issues and concerns ……… weaving diversity and inclusion strategies into ICE's daily operations in support of sustaining a high-performing work environment.
Ms. Hewlett began her current assignment on January 15, 2018 and was previously with Department of Justice Civil Rights and a Veteran of the United States Army. As a career civil servant, Ms. Hewlett has held the role of a Deputy Chief Diversity officer, an Executive Officer, and a Strategic Adviser to federal leaders on Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity matters for over a decade. Ms. Hewlett is an experienced certified facilitator and trainer with the Federal Government, where she applies her knowledge and skills in contribution to the transformation of insightful federal leaders.
Ms. Hewlett is the recipient of Department of Justice Leadership Executive Certification, she holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from Sullivan University, and currently enrolled as a candidate for the Cornell University’s Diversity and Inclusion Certification Program. She is a resident of Maryland and the mother of one wonderful child.
