Natalie Carey is Senior Director of Appian's Federal Civilian Practice. She began working with government 17 years ago and has supported both civilian and defense agencies in the US and abroad. Natalie has spent a majority of her career specializing in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. In her current role, she enables the Appian team to deliver meaningful automation solutions that drive mission outcomes, accelerate government modernization, and improve citizens' experience with government services. She is an active member of leading government & industry collaborative working groups. Through these working groups, Natalie has contributed to many publications and events, is currently contributing to the development of a low-code automation playbook for government and leads a low-code automation government user group.
