After a long-term government career at the U.S. General Services Administration, Martha created her own consultancy to facilitate the improvement of government services to the public. Martha works with federal agencies and the private sector to transform government services to citizens, employees and businesses. In addition, Martha founded the Service to the Citizen Awards, which is an annual awards program to honor and recognize champions of change across governments in the US and around the world as well as private sector partners. This year, 2020, is the 3rd annual Service to the Citizen Awards Program. Martha issues a monthly Citizen Services Newsletter to over 20,000 people around the world, holds virtual and in-person GovCX Roundtables, and speaks and writes on the topic.
