Mark Samblanet

Information Technology Chief

Mark Samblanet As ACT-IAC’s Information Technology Chief, Mark is responsible for the modernization of ACT-IAC’s technology, including the rollout of new web and collaboration capabilities. Mr. Samblanet has provided technical, management, and business development support as a Federal Contractor for over 40 years, and has been a member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) for over 15 years, during which time he has led committees for identity management/access control (3 white papers), IAC web policy, and, most recently, the Challenges Snippet. For the past year and a quarter, he has served as the Vice Chair for the Collaboration and Transformation Shared Interest Group (C&T SIG). In both his ACT-IAC and business development role, he has established collaboration sites for projects and proposals to increase efficiency of information sharing and to coordinate work management. Mr. Samblanet has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with graduate work in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. His previous employers include Active Network, TechTeam (now Jacobs Technology), Anteon (now General Dynamics Information Technologies), SAIC, Telos, and Cincinnati Bell, as well as president of his own company for 10 years
