Louis (Lou) Charlier
Deputy Chief Information Officer
Louis (Lou) Charlier has more than 30 years of leadership and transformational experience in the military, private, and public sectors initiating and implementing enterprise-wide, IT capabilities and strategies. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Administration and Strategy at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Charlier and his team provide enterprise IT services to more than 15,000 customers, in 19 Department Agencies, at 600 locations across the country.
Currently, Charlier guides and oversees IT program planning and execution. He supports the operational infrastructure of more than 250 mission-critical applications for the Enterprise IT environment. He also provides strategic, tactical, and managerial leadership to federal and technical staff.
