Assistant Administrator, Contracting & Procurement, Head of the Contracting Activity
Katrina Brisbon is the Assistant Administrator for the Office of Contracting and Procurement. She is responsible for the oversight of contract operations, contract policy and business systems for TSA. She also provides executive leadership and senior technical expertise for the strategic planning of TSA’s $3.8 billion acquisition portfolio. Brisbon also serves as the executive liaison to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chief of Procurement on all matters related to contracts and procurement, policy legislation and the workforce.
Prior to assuming her current duties, Brisbon served as the Deputy, Head of the Contracting Activity for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s. In this capacity, she provided oversight of strategic planning for the acquisition of telecommunications systems, information technology assets and associated services for annual obligations of approximately $7 billion.
Brisbon holds a Master’s of Business Administration, a Master’s in Human Relations and a Bachelor’s of Computer Science and Business Administration. She has also earned multiple acquisition awards for her efforts and contributions to the Department of Homeland Security.
