John Lee (703-208-4800 x227) Director, Marketing and Communications. For over 16 years, John served as a professional marketing resource for information technology companies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In his current role as Director, Marketing and Communications, John serves as the lead on marketing and communications efforts throughout the organization and provides support and direction to other departments contributing to this effort. Prior to joining ACT-IAC in 2016, John served as the Director of Marketing for Federal Times and C4ISR & Networks at Sightline Media Group (formerly Gannett Government Media). His experience in marketing IT solutions spans the gamut from small managed services companies to multi-billion dollar IT outsourcing providers such as CSC. John’s expertise includes his ability to develop integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, sponsorship and attendee promotions for conferences and establishing business partnerships. His greatest strengths are his creativity, drive and determination. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the organization’s reach. He is originally from southern New Jersey. John holds a BS degree from the University of Maryland at College Park.
