Cybersecurity Training & Policy Branch Chief
Jasmine Avila leverages her experience in strategy, engagement, and outreach to bring equitable, people-first policy to the areas of IT, human capital, and healthcare.
As the Cybersecurity Training & Policy Branch Chief, for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Ms. Avila leads a team focused on security awareness initiatives, workforce planning, and cyber policy. Since joining CBP in 2010, she has brought creative solutions to challenges in workforce management, data management, and policy compliance. Before joining CBP, Ms. Avila worked in various roles from running a healthcare consulting to recruitment. Ms. Avila holds a degree in Business Management from George Mason University.
Committed to shaping the future of work and promoting inclusion, Ms. Avila invests in her local community via ACT-IAC and Young AFCEA Bethesda as well as mentoring women and girls within the STEAM field.
