James E. Cook
Vice President, Strategic Engagement and Partnerships
James Cook is Vice President for Strategic Engagement and Partnerships with the MITRE Corporation, a non-profit company chartered to work in the public interest. He leads strategic engagements with the executive agencies and Congress; and develops partnerships with the private sector, academia, and other non-profit, associations and foundations to address challenges at the federal, state, and municipal levels.
Previously, Cook led the Center for Enterprise Modernization (CEM), a federally funded research and development center focused on modernization and innovation for civilian government agencies. He also serves as the Chair of ACT-IACs Institute for Innovation, which he helped establish in 2012.
