Nomination Rules for Igniting Innovation 2019

Nominations are due by January 18, 2019
  • Anyone can nominate an innovation that benefits (or could benefit) services to citizens and government operations.
  • There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit -  you may submit more than one.
  • Nominations must have been conceived, developed, deployed or upgraded in the last two years to be eligible.
  • If you are logged into the website you may save a draft.  You may also return to a previous submission here
  • If you are not logged into the website you will not be able to save a draft and must complete the entire submission. 
  • After you answer all of the questions, then click on “SUBMIT” to submit your nomination.
  • All of the nominations will be reviewed by a panel of government and industry executives in early 2018 to select the finalists. The points of contact in the nomination form will be notified if they are selected as a finalist.

 

2. Describe your innovation and why it is innovative. Be as descriptive as possible and specifically address the following (1,000 word limit):

(a) does your innovation transform existing capabilities or create new or disruptive capabilities?

(b) how could your innovation be adapted, repurposed, or used by others beyond the initial target audience?

(c) did you use  any innovative processes or approaches  for development, acquisition or delivery?)

3. What change does your innovation attempt to deliver or create and how? This can be described in terms of a problem to be solved or a new outcome that can be achieved because of your innovation. (500 word limit)
