ICAM Project

 

Description

ACT-IAC has undertaken a project with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence Partner Engagement Information Sharing Environment (ODNI PE-ISE) to support a common initiative on identity, credential and access management (ICAM). The purpose of this project is to advance the Information Sharing ICAM Initiative, which supports a variety of Federal, state and local efforts. The project will focus on preparation of an ICAM best practices and lessons learned paper that would draw upon ICAM experts in both ACT-IAC COIs and PE-ISE partner organizations.  By providing case studies of ICAM best practices this project would facilitate the use of ICAM in accessing shared data centers, a cloud solution, or a nation-wide first responder network, thereby accelerating such migrations, and promoting interoperability and information sharing.  Customers could include Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and first responders.
