OPM offering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification classes for Federal government

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification:  OPM’s Federal Executive Institute is partnering with the U.S. Army to provide Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training for federal staff, which supports the President’s Management Agenda and Cross-Agency Priority Goals. To become Lean Six Sigma certified, in conjunction with the 4-weeks of LSS training, each student will complete an LSS project in their home agency. Throughout the course, students will apply their new skills to their agency project with ongoing support from the program’s instructors and coaches. Upon completion of all course requirements and successful completion of an approved Lean Six Sigma project following training, participants will be eligible for certification as a federal Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  The training will be conducted at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (1900 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20415) and will take place one week per month, over a four month period: August 13-17 September 10-14 October 9-12 November 5-9.
