Doors open at 6PM
The Voyager Class of 2020 invites Fellows to Voyagers Got Talent – A Night at the Grand Ole Opry, a night of fun, foolery, magic and dancing. The members of this year’s Voyager Class have mastered many talents over the years and this once in a lifetime event, with these special people, is not to be missed. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7. A reception will follow after the performance.
In addition to a fun and entertaining time, Voyagers Got Talent is also an opportunity to give to an amazing charity – America’s VetDogs. America’s VetDogs trains and places service dogs for those with physical disabilities and guide dogs for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Their service dog programs were created to provide renewed independence and enhanced mobility to United States veterans, active-duty service members and first responders with disabilities. This year’s Voyagers class is proud to have Tucker as a member!
Tucker has been instrumental in helping transform the life of one of our 2020 Voyagers. Her words best explain the tremendous impact service dogs have on our fellow Americans and their families:
When you donate to America’s VetDogs the gift you are giving is so much more than a few dollars. It is the gift of freedom, of hope, of a chance at a better life. Service Dogs change lives. America’s VetDogs gave me a new lease on life; I was in a dark spiral and Tucker helped me find the light. He saved not only me but helped to heal my family. America’s VetDogs custom trains their dogs for veterans of every era and first responders. They ensure that the dog meets their partners needs and are provided at no cost to the handler. The gift you give is one that can never be repaid. You are providing freedom, hope and a new lease on life, and I can’t ever thank you enough.
*Registration for this event is open to Fellows and guests of the 2020 Voyager Class.
