The ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance is pleased to announce Straight Talk with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), which works in partnership with state and local agencies and the private sector to enhance and protect the health and well-being of all Americans and foster advances in medicine, public health, and social services.  Attendees from both the public and private sectors will learn how to work with one of the largest Federal agencies as it seeks to enhance the health security of hundreds of millions of American citizens.

During this extended “Straight Talk” program, HHS agency representatives will discuss a broad cross section of topics that are not only of interest to the small business community but also of interest to large businesses and other Federal stakeholders, as well. The topics include:

  • Steps that companies – and especially small businesses – can take to grow and succeed while supporting HHS customers.
  • Suggestions for small businesses that want to increase their engagement with HHS and its primary OpDivs.
  • Procurement trends that HHS is seeing and how these trends will impact forthcoming business opportunities.
