About the Speaker
Bryan Long serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Operations and Shared Services within the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Energy (DOE). In this position, he is responsible for providing reliable, secure, and cost-effective information technology support services that satisfy business needs and enable mission outcomes. Mr. Long led the successful migration from on-premises Exchange email to Office 365 cloud services in 2016, established Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments in 2018, and leads the current IT Modernization initiatives for the DOE OCIO. Prior to joining the OCIO, he worked for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer within the Office of Corporate Information Systems from 2002 to 2008, during which time he served as the Deputy Project Manager for the implementation of the Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES) corporate acquisition and grants system, and served as the Standardized Accounting and Reporting System (STARS) Project Manager for Development and Application Support Software.
