Join the IT Management & Modernization (ITMM) Community of Interest regular member meeting with guest speaker Beth Killoran, Deputy CIO, General Services Administration (GSA) and Government Executive Sponsor for the COI

The COI continues the discussion on FITARA with Beth Killoran, Deputy CIO for GSA, who has a breadth of experience. The latest scorecards are due this month, and Beth will discuss GSA’s progress and the journey ahead. She will also reflect on the earlier days of FITARA implementation when she was at the Department of Health and Human Services. Beth worked on the ACT-IAC IT Management Maturity Model (which the COI updated in 2019). This meeting is off the record.

About the Speaker
Ms. Beth Killoran is the Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the General Services Administration (GSA). Prior to joining GSA, she served as the CIO for the Department of Health and Human Services. Beth also served 11 years at the Department of Homeland Security in a number of leadership roles throughout the organization including Under Secretary for Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Citizenship and Immigration Service and Customs and Border Protection. Earlier in her career she provided IT infrastructure support and operations at the Department of the Treasury. Beth holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a certificate in Personnel Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
