Department of Energy's CESER at ACT-IAC Cybersecurity COI Virtual Member Meeting
Invited Speaker: Fowad Muneer, Program Manager, Cybersecurity for Energy Delivery Systems (CEDS) Division, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response (CESER)
The Department of Energy created CESER in 2018 to address the emerging threats while protecting the reliable flow of energy, focus on energy infrastructure security, support the expanded national security responsibilities assigned to the Department, and report to the Under Secretary of Energy. The creation of the CESER office elevates the Department’s focus on energy infrastructure protection and will enable more coordinated preparedness and response to natural and man-made threats. More information about CESER is available here https://www.energy.gov/ceser/about-us.
At the meeting, also hear about current and upcoming COI projects and how you can be involved.
