About the Speaker
Since June 2019, Dr. John Beieler has served as the Director of Science and Technology in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Prior, he spent two years as a program manager at the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), focusing on human language technology, machine learning, and forecasting. He also has experience as a Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University's Human Language Technology Center for Excellence. Dr. Beieler earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University and his PhD in Political Science from Penn State University.
