About the Topic
As innovative, dynamic technologies advance over time and globalization plays an increasingly large role in how the U.S. Government procures goods and services, Federal agencies must proactively and effectively integrate supply chain risk management (SCRM) best practices within their supply chain procedures. Establishing robust acquisition and supply chain processes within Federal agencies is integral to protecting U.S. national security interests. This meeting will be a tabletop exercise focused on a “rip and replace” scenario where U.S. national security entities have confirmed that a specified piece of software is a bad actor and Federal agencies must rip and replace the product as mandated by the Federal Acquisition Security Council. During this exercise, we encourage the audience to participate by either verbally providing recommendations to participants or writing feedback to submit upon completion of the exercise.
