Do you want better, faster, easier ways to conduct federal acquisitions? Then join this webinar at 11:00AM on March 31st for a demonstration of the Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovations - a compendium of proven acquisition innovations developed under ACT-IAC’s Institute for Innovation. The webinar will illustrate how government and industry professionals can use this new resource to enhance their acquisition experiences based on successes and lessons learned from those who have innovated before.
Streamlining federal acquisition processes is a shared objective between government and industry to help fulfill important policy goals, such as IT Modernization, advanced by the President’s Management Agenda.
ACT-IAC’s Institute for Innovation undertook a project to address this need sponsored by OMB’s Office of Federal Procurement Policy and supported by the contributions of federal agencies. The result is the Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovations. The periodic table is:
- A single location to compile innovative acquisition practices, use cases, and references
- Logically organized around the acquisition lifecycle that is easy to navigate and use
- Populated with agency samples
The plan is to turn the platform over to the government for operation, management, and enhancement later this year. We want to raise awareness and use of the Periodic Table and promote contribution of content on an ongoing basis to increase adoption of modern business practices.
