Acquisition Innovation Lead
Elizabeth (Liz) Chirico leads the Acquisition Innovation through Technology team in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) (ODASA(P). Prior to her current role, she served as an Acquisition Reform Manager for the DASA(P) leading multiple acquisition reform efforts and also served as the Special Assistant to the DASA(P). Liz’s previous work experience includes working as a Senior Procurement Analyst for the Acquisition Support Division at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Headquarters office, Acting Business Operations Chief for USACE Europe district, Wiesbaden, GER, and five years of experience working in various offices and positions as a contracting professional for USACE.
Liz holds an M.S. in Acquisition and Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a B.A in English from the University of Mary Washington. She is Level III certified in Contracting and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps. Liz is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
