As Federal and State first responders modernize their approach to hurricanes as well as other disasters, they are increasingly turning to innovations ranging from sensors to artificial intelligence to secure cloud-based networks that support information sharing; such innovations strengthen detection, prevention, and resiliency strategies that benefit citizens, communities, and the nation. From innovation labs at FEMA to operations centers onsite, government officials and their private sector partners are adapting technologies to improve service and efficiency.
