Data Driven Decision Making Project
The President’s Management Agenda (PMA) and the Federal Data Strategy (currently under development) establish new requirements for agencies to manage and use data to make better operational and policy decisions. Agency leaders face challenges setting goals, selecting practices, developing and implementing plans, and managing business process and organizational culture changes.
ACT-IAC launched the “Data-Driven Decision-Making Project” to provide agencies with effective management strategies and practices to strengthen their abilities to manage and use data to make decisions. The project will interview agency executives in order to develop a maturity model, assessment tool, and effective practices agencies can use to implement the Federal Data Strategy and support the PMA.
