Director, Professional Development and Education
Casey Harris (703-208-4800 X225) joined ACT-IAC as the Manager of Membership in March of 2014. In this role, Casey provided support and leadership to the ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance and Rocky Mountain Chapter. In addition to assisting the membership department with membership engagement and retention strategies.
In August of 2016 Casey moved into the role of Senior Manager of Professional Development, where she then transitioned to managing our Associates and Voyagers programs as well as our NexUS community for Young Professionals. Casey excelled in this role exhibiting initiative, intelligence and determination to succeed. In November of 2017 Casey was promoted to the Associate Director of Professional Development and Education where she now oversees all of ACT-IAC’s Professional Development activities.
Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Casey worked as an IT small business consultant and in Membership for a national non-profit focusing on consumer advocacy. Casey graduated from James Madison University with a BBA in Marketing and is in the process of receiving her Masters of Education in Education and Human Resource Studies with a Specialization in Organizational Learning, Performance and Change through Colorado State University. Her anticipated graduation is May of 2019.
