Vendor marketing can make the move to cloud technologies sound easy. In reality, the transition to the cloud can be very difficult from a Mission, Technical and Cybersecurity perspective. The security of your mission critical data is a key concern to your organization's leadership and this concern does not change as you move your organization's data into the cloud. Transitioning mission focussed digital assets to the cloud will present you with many challenges around how to best secure your organization’s information. FedRAMP has become the established framework for CyberSecurity in Cloud Environments.  New legislation is making FedRAMP mandatory for Federal Government Cloud implementations. This session will focus on the value the FedRamp program brings, the impacts of legislation, and how to best position yourself to take advantage of the cloud in a secure fashion.

Learning Objectives:

  • What has changed with FedRAMP
  • The impact of recent legislation on Federal Cloud utilization
