Cheryl Waldrup has 25 years of experience in federal government contracting, gathering customer requirements and aligning products and services to meet those requirements. She joined Strongbridge in 2019 and is responsible for all growth activities. Currently responsible for marketing, business development and capture, early in her career Cheryl served in billable positions enabling a variety of missions including the Navy’s Submarine On-board Training (SOBT) program, OPM’s Training Management Assistance (TMA) program and the Immigration and Naturalization Services Information Technology Partnership (INS-ITP).
An accomplished writer and speaker who has published more than 200 articles in national and regional publications, Cheryl leverages the written and spoken word to articulate the value of technology offerings to federal agencies. She is a graduate of the 2012 Partners program at ACT-IAC and was chosen as the ACT-IAC Industry Fellow of the Year, for her role as chair of the marketing and social media committee for ImagineNation – ELC 2018, held in Philadelphia with more than 1,000 participants.
Cheryl was recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Capella University as the Business Leader of 2017 and had the honor of ringing the closing bell on the NASDAQ in October 2017. She is a Governance Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is a graduate of the 2014 Leadership Foundry Program, a program which prepares more women to serve on corporate boards. Cheryl served during 2013-2015 on the EMC Americans Marketing Advisory Council (MAC) and was a 2013 panelist in VMWare’s Women of Purpose Program.
