Austin Price is a professional instigator, story teller and connector of dots. His role in innovation is using building the leading teams and coalitions to get results to make sure change actually happens.
He currently leads strategic communications and governance for the Office of Shared Solutions and Performance at GSA. His portfolio includes broad messaging, strategy and content creation for the President’s Management Agenda, Gears of Government Awards, the Chief Executive Councils and many other cross-government initiatives.
Prior to GSA, he worked at the Partnership for Public Service where he led coalitions of executives from government and industry dedicated to improving government performance. He was recognized as a Fed 100 winner for his leadership on government-wide shared services issues. He also led programs focused on leadership development, FITARA implementation, and Presidential Transition.
Austin has also worked with non-partisan, non-profit organizations in California where he led campaign, legislative, and media strategy for a number of state and federal policy issues. He completed his Master’s in International Development at the Graduate School for Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and completed his undergraduate degree at Transylvania University.
Austin stays energized and motivated through playing soccer, cross-training, camping and trout fishing with his friends and family and one-year old son.
