2019 Associates Application

Applications for the 2019 Class of Associates are OPEN. Applicants are encouraged to carefully read through the program criteria prior to submitting an application. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 PM January 4, 2019. 

The ACT-IAC Associates program is unlike any other professional development program and provides the following experiences:

  • Develop professional and career skills
  • Gain an understanding of the culture of government and industry organizations through practical exercises
  • Develop skills necessary to advance more rapidly
  • Coaching from seasoned professionals in government and industry who provide insight and knowledge essential to students
  • Accelerated professional and personal growth
  • Build confidence and self-awareness
  • Cultivate a peer network through collaboration with classmates

 

Applicant Criteria:

  • Each candidate must be employed by an ACT-IAC member company.
  • Each candidate must be recommended by an executive in his or her company or agency, or by a member of the ACT-IAC Fellows Community, and complete an application and meet the baseline criteria.

A Government applicant should:

  • Be a federal employee (Grade 7-11) with 1-5 years of federal experience in project management, contracting, customer service, technical or in another key role in their organization.
  • Have a well-rounded background in their discipline and/or career within their agency.
  • Be considered a “rising star” in his or her agency.
  • Possess a willingness to learn.
  • Be willing to dedicate one day per month for ACT-IAC Associate activities between February and November.
  • Be recommended by a sponsor within their agency who is willing to pay the fee for the program.  Participant fee is $1995 and includes all meals and facilities.

An Industry applicant should:

  • Be an entry-level managers or a professional with 2 -5 years of experience in project management, contracting, customer service, technical or in another key role in their organization.
  • Have a well-rounded background in their discipline and/or career within their agency.
  • Be considered a “rising star” in his or her agency.
  • Possess a willingness to learn.
  • Be willing to dedicate one day per month for ACT-IAC Associate activities between February and November.
  • Be recommended by a sponsor within their agency who is willing to pay the fee for the program.  Participant fee is $1995 and includes all meals and facilities.

Tuition:  $1,995.00
