Amira Boland

Amira leads the Office of Management and Budget’s work to establish a government-wide capability to manage Federal customer experiences and improve service delivery. She came to OMB from the Office of Evaluation Sciences, an interdisciplinary team that translates and rigorously tests evidence-based insights into concrete recommendations for how to improve government. There, she was the Deputy Director, led OES collaborations in the Justice space, stood up GSA’s Data and Analytics Center of Excellence, and was the Executive Secretary of the White House Social and Behavioral Sciences Team. Before joining OES, Amira worked as a consultant specializing in government reform, customer experience, impact measurement, and social enterprise engagements. Prior to this, she researched the behavioral tactics of terrorist organizations. Amira is a proud graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and loves living in Capitol Hill with her husband and two children.
